# Sayy

> Sayy is a privacy-first commenting platform — a drop-in Disqus replacement that loads in 3KB, never blocks the page, and ships in four widget modes.

Sayy replaces third-party embed comment systems with a three-stage boot: a 3KB `boot.js` snippet, a short-cached `init` config endpoint, and a lazy-loaded `loader.js` that is cached immutably. Tier 1 spam filtering runs entirely on the server with zero external requests, no cookies and no tracking. Optional AI moderation (bring your own key, or Sayy AI billed at $2 per 1,000 calls) only fires on ambiguous comments.

## Key facts

- Boot payload: **3KB**; full widget is lazy-loaded only when a reader opens it.
- External requests in Tier 1: **0**.
- Widget modes: **inline, floating, bottom bar, side panel** — one embed tag, switch mode in the dashboard.
- Spam tiers: **Tier 1 local** (default), **Tier 2 AI** (BYOK by default, or Sayy AI + pay-as-you-go), **Tier 3 disabled**.
- AI providers: OpenAI `gpt-4o-mini`, Anthropic `claude-haiku`. AI fires only for ambiguous local scores (20–70).
- Sayy AI price: **$2 per 1,000 calls** (metered, no subscription).
- Pricing: **Free $0**, **Growth $15/mo**, **Business $39/mo**. Free tier is local moderation only.
- WordPress: plugin for WordPress 6.0+, PHP 8.1+, multisite-compatible, classic and block themes.
- Context anchoring: comments attach to highlighted text, not just the page footer.
- Privacy: no cookies, no fingerprints; IPs and user agents are SHA-256 hashed, never stored raw.
- Migration: one-click Disqus XML / WordPress WXR import with dry-run and rollback.
